It’s quite possible that I’m the only one excited about this, but after working in blurry databases day in and day out, I was pumped to see that FileMaker Pro 12 recently released an update that supports high-resolution monitors, such as Apple’s Macbook Pro Retina Display or the iPad.
High resolution displays, when displaying non-compatible text or graphics, will appear blurry or hazy. The process a developer goes through to make their program Retina Display-friendly is tedious and involves updating every image the program uses so that the image is twice the normal size. High-resolution monitors such as the Retina Display can show twice the number of pixels in the same amount of space as a typical pixel, making photos and text altogether more beautiful and more defined.
